At Community Traverse we are committed to promoting and investing in local communities wherever possible and to raising funds for associated charities and volunteer groups across the legendary Coast to Coast route.
Every act of generosity - big or small, will help towards our goal to ensure some of our biggest races still remain accessible at every level.
Funds raised will help to support athletes who face financial barriers and our volunteers, but will also help with actively seeking to support the environments we share and the people who support us here too.

In 2026 Community Traverse has contributed over £1000 to help aspiring athletes reach our start lines and supporting our incredible volunteers.

When the initial call went out, the community answered like never before.
An incredible team of volunteers arrived in full force, dedicating a staggering 838 collective hours of effort and commitment to keep the dream alive.
From supporting our aid stations to providing unwavering encouragement, their tireless work ethic ensured our founding events were a resounding success.
